For holiday season 2017 Dior is releasing a full range of makeup collection with fun and sophisticated, cool and glitter mood. The collection carries deep colours as well as precious gem shades that rocks attitude of the modern women as Peter Philips the Creative and Image Director for Dior makeup describes. I received a couple of items from the brand for reviewing purposes where I wish I could have gotten my hands on the entire collection to feature it here for you all. The collection carries a selection of bold and dark shades of Diorific Kohl, Diorific Vernis Liner, Diorific Vernis, 5 Couleurs Precious Rocks Eyeshadow Palettes, Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Precious Rock and Diorific Matte Fluid all limited edition. Today I’m reviewing:
- Diorific Kohl in Bold Amethyst
- Diorific Matte Fluid in Charm
- Diorific Vernis in Emerald and Grenat
Up first is the Diorific Kohl (C$46.00 each) are beautiful and luxurious looking lipsticks in bold and deep shades. These lipsticks are designed in Kohl shape. They have ultra fine texture with velvety matte finish. There are five bold and beautiful shades in this collection and I received this in Bold Amethyst which is an amazing and beautiful deep plum shade with matte and velvety texture. It comes in a beautiful and magical gold packaging which really carries a pure glamor look into it. They are highly pigmented and finishes off powdery which adds to its lasting power. It’s a little drying on the lips and requires lip prep before application but it’s wears comfortable. 
On the other hand the Diorific Matte Fluid (C$47.00 each) is a liquid fluid for lips and cheeks which carries a semi matte finish. The texture is creamy and perfect for those with dry lips, it doesn’t emphasize the dryness and stays fresh for a good amount of time. I received it in Charm which is a perfect Nude shade for Nude lip lovers, it’s a beautiful shade that complements your look in day and night. Reapplication is required for the lips after couple of hours and especially after meal but it stays pretty good on cheeks where there is no need for reapplication at all. Again it comes in beautiful clear glass packaging with gold tip applicator. The applicator carries the same traditional sponge applicator for a smooth and flawless finish.

I also received the Diorific Vernis (C$34.00 each) is a highly pigmented nail polishes and carries a glossy finish. They come in four beautiful and bold shades for this holiday season. It apply smoothly with two coats and with high shine. They’re on high pigment side where two coat is good enough. The brushes have the tapered round tips so it goes smoothly over the nails and covers the whole nails with one swipe. The packaging is quick interesting and glamorous. Both shades are beautiful and have that festivity colors into it. I received it in:
- Emerald – is a beautiful green gem shade with gold shimmers and have a glossy finish which adds lots of attention on to the nails. Perfect for those evening looks for holiday season and wears beautifully with your little black dress and goes along pretty well with red or nude lips.
- Grenat – is a deep pink with red under tone, it finishes off very sleek and glossy. Perfect for a pop of color to the nails.
That covers up part of Holiday collection for Dior 2017. There is a lot more to discover from this holiday collection which I’m looking forward to it. Some of the items that will be on my radar would be the highlighter which I find it quite interesting and stunning at the same time. I was very pleased with the Diorific Kohl in Bold Amethyst which have become one of my favorite shades to wear during this holiday season as well as the Diorific Matte Fluid in Charm is a perfect nude to carry it while you’re on the go and gives cheeks a very subtle and nice glow. The Diorific Vernis in Emerald and Grenat are some thing that you really need to browse in and check it personally – quality and performance is on point, I’m always on deeper shades when it comes to nail polishes, I’m tempting to get my hands on the deeper plum shade that’s called Amethyst which resembles the same Diorific Kohl lipstick shade. I will definitely share the swatch of it with you all soon.
