Dior is introducing new additions to their DIORSKIN FOREVER line this season. Dior is taking the FOREVER line foundation further by fulfilling women’s expectations in terms of texture and skin finish. Peter Philips who’s the Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup thinks that correction, long wear and matte finish are the essentials basis for perfecting makeup. I have always been loving the Diorskin FOREVER foundation and it have been one of my stables from many years. I was really excited to try out the new additions to the line. This additions contains:
- Diorskin Forever Extreme Control Powder Foundation
- Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer
Up first is the DIORSKIN FOREVER Extreme Control (C$70 for 0.35 oz) is a lightweight powder foundation that delivers a perfectly even out skin with a natural matte finish. The texture is incredibly smooth and blends beautifully into the skin. These comes in 10 different shades to enhance all skin tones. I was sent the shade Ivory 10 and Medium Beige 30 to try out for reviewing purposes which I found Ivory 10 was a good match to my skin tone. The shade Ivory was a little light on me right now but I think it will make a good match during winter time for my skin tone- I felt right now I’m somewhere in between the two shades. These compacts come in with a high quality sponge applicator which I found pretty convenient and a good tool for touch up while on the go. I used a fluffy powder brush for application by mixing the two shades together which give me a nice finish with a perfect match to my skin. It have been a while that I haven’t used the Forever foundation from Dior so I can’t really recall my shade but I feel I used Light Beige 20 for a period of time. Powders usually don’t interest me since I carry a very dry skin, and I prefer a dewy skin not matte finish. But I found these powder foundations were incredibly light and doesn’t feel dry on skin, I have to mention I did use a good creamy moisturizer as a base and a setting spray on top and I loved the finish of these powder foundations. It literally looks like skin and carries a blurring effect on fine lines. It stays input for whole day without touching up.
Over foundation it looked equally beautiful and I would say seamless. I have tested over couple of my current foundations and BB creams, it applied smoothly all over the complexion, I personally loved how you can even out the skin between the face and body with this powder foundation without any hassle. I also used the Medium Beige 30 as my bronzer just to warm up the face for a nice sun-kissed look, and I must admit it give me a flawless finish. I do think your skin needs to be well prepped with a nice moisturizer, facial oil or primer for a smooth and flawless finish. It comes in a well dressed packaging with a good size mirror for touch ups. The Powder itself can be refilled over the Dior counter. 
Up next is the Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer (C$42) is a highly pigmented and waterproof concealer that offers a perfect complexion. This concealer neutralizes and corrects the skin’s imperfections with its camouflage coverage. The texture is creamy and light weight. I found the concealer to be on hydrating side and stays input without creasing or cracking on the skin. It doesn’t emphasise the fine lines and offers a matte velvety finish. I got to try out in Cream 11 carries neutral undertone and Sand 31 carries yellow under tone, and Creamy 11 was a good match for my skin tone. I loved how the whole collection carries a great range of shades with different under tones (neutral, yellow and pink). It comes in sleek glass looking packaging with cushion tip applicator. 
I loved both new products especially designed for this season. Although I’m not into matte finish skin but I found these do not dry out the skin at all. After testing these for a week now I give them a huge thumbs up. I didn’t get any breakouts or irritation from using these products. I don’t have large pores to begin with only small ones around my nose but these doesn’t clog pores at all. Both products carries a great range of shades and colours to enhance all skin tones. I have a yellow undertone skin and I loved how the Undercover Concealer came in with both neutral and yellow under tone. Bottom line they stay input with great lasting power. DIORSKIN FOREVER Extreme Control and Undercover Concealer are available this July at all Dior beauty counters at Department stores.
