Dior have just launched their new Dior Addict line Lip Tattoo (C$ 36.00 each) this May. These are highly pigmented tinted lip links for ephemeral tattoo effect created by Creative and Image Director Peter Philips for Dior this 2017. Lately the lip links or tattoos are trending everywhere in different ways and every one is loving these new formulas for its lightweight and lasting power without being transferred to any thing.
Dior have launched six beautiful shades, mostly in nudes and berry shades to enhance lips with these beautiful colors. And these lip ink tints from Dior is definitely one of the best formulas I have tried it so far. It have a great lasting power, it does claim to stay on for 10 hour but I found it lasts 4-6 hour full on without smearing or siding but it does fade after eating dinner especially greasy foods. The lip tattoo ink does fuses with the lips transparently giving lips a healthy wash color for another 4 hours of live and offers lips a nice healthy glow that comes from within.
Closer look to some of the colors:
- Natural Rosewood – is a deeper dirty rose color, it makes a perfect nude for all skin tones.
- Natural Cherry – is a nice bright warm pink color. It literally gives lips a beautiful pink color.
- Natural Coral – is one of my favorite for this spring time. It’s a bright orange coral shade.
The texture in these lip inks are super creamy and after few minutes it doesn’t feel like any thing on the lips. It melts into the lips and feels like skin immediately. You have more control over the color, by layering them – where you can go from sheer to full coverage. The colors are wearable during the day and night. They’re not too intense, just carries a perfect amount of color to enhance lip colors. I love the fact that you can wear it alone or define lips with a lip pencil under these lip inks or wear on top of your lipsticks to make your lipstick live longer.
The packaging carries the same Dior Addict iconic look with opaque colored tubes and comes in with a traditional cushion tip for application. It’s very easy to carry them with you all the time and fits in any kind of bag or clutch. The new Dior Addict line Lip Tattoo is now available online and in store at Sephora and Nordstrom.
