Cle de Peau | Radiant Fluid Foundation Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen

I get super excited when I find a new base, especially when it comes from Cle de Peau Beaute. This time they launched Radiant Fluid Foundation Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen (C$174.00 for 1.1 oz.). This is a soft matte liquid foundation that offers a nice radiant finish with skincare benefits to smooth and refine skin’s texture. It’s a medium coverage that looks natural on the skin while gives a nice radiance and glow to the overall complexion.

It comes in 24 shades to cover all skin tones, which I found carries different tones. The formula is lightweight and adds a soft-focus effect on the skin. It also refines pores and smooths out any imperfection over the long term use. The formula looks fresh on the skin and doesn’t feel dry at all.

It is formulated with a Skin-Empowering Illuminator and Light-Empowering Enhancer which helps the skin on the surface and beneath to amplify radiant finish and to defend itself against different types of stress for radiant skin. The formula is designed to feel comfortable, give out a natural and radiant finish with good lasting power.

I received the foundation in two shades (EB10 & O30). I found the EB10 was a close match but slightly light but I can definitely work it out on my skin. While the O30 was slightly darker with an orange undertone. I felt the foundation on my skin a bit dry but considering it for the driest month of the year, it’s going to wear really nice on a summer day.
It set very well on my skin and I didn’t need a powder to set the foundation plus a touch-up is required after 6-8 hours of wear (I do touch my face a lot).

I have been a true lover of their Radiant Cushion foundation (reviewed here) for its performance and radiant finish while it covers me with my daily SPF I need summer day and easy reapplication while on the go.
I found this won’t replace my Radiant Cushion Foundation for my daily use for outside but I can say that this would be a new foundation that I will be reaching out for my night looks (just for its SPF). You can now find this foundation at Saks Fifth Avenue.
