Clarins introduced new innovated range of skin care this Spring Hydra-Essentiel. Hydra-Essentiel range helps the complexion to retain its natural water capacity and delivers an instant smoothness and radiance to the skin. The Hydra-Essentiel range have been formulated with an Organic Leaf of life extract which powers the skin’s natural hydration and Hyaluronic acid to soothe the skin – and the it does just that. This range consists of Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum and Hydra-Essentiel Moisturzer.
Up first the Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum – (C$56.00 for 30 ml) is a lightweight refreshing serum that instantly hydrates and delivers a radiant looking skin. It’s perfect for all skin tones and textures (normal, combination, dry and sensitive) as well as it quenches the dull and uneven skin. The texture is like water which gives skin an instant boost of hydration. I have been putting this intense hydrating bi-phase serum to test from last four weeks and I have been very impressed with the result. My skin looks more hydrated than ever – I have been going through some major skin dryness from last year, although I’ve been doing every thing I could to get that full hydrated skin back this last year. And I must include that I have my well hydrated skin back. Using this intense hydrating bi-phase serum really gives an extra boost to my skin lately. Two pump was good enough to cover my entire face and neck area, I found the application needs a little more attention since it comes it watery texture. You have to get an amount of product into your balm first and then either use your other hand’s finger tips to distribute the product all over the face or warm the product between your balm and apply all over the face and neck area. Keeping in mind to make sure you shake the product before use.
Up next is the Hydra-Essentiel Silk Cream (C$46 for 50 ml) which is a silky cream that restores the hydration and radiance to super thirsty skin. The skin feels instantly hydrated and smooth. It’s perfect for – normal, dry and sensitive skin. The Hydra-Essentiel Moisturizer comes in three different textures:
- Silk Cream – Normal to Dry skin
- Rich Cream – Very Dry skin
- Cooling Gel – Normal to Combination skin
At first sight I was not sure if Silk cream would offer enough moisture to my dry skin because I consider my skin very dry but it have proven me wrong. Silk Cream have been giving my skin enough moisture to get me through the day easily without feeling dry on skin. I loved how the texture is light and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on skin. I have been using the Silk cream along with the Hydra-Essentiel Bi-Phase Serum as my morning skin care routine for four weeks now and I have already noticed a difference in the overall skin look. The skin appears to look much smoother and radiant than before which I have been working on it for a long time now. I love how Clarins offers three different texture for all skin types to target dryness.
I have been loving this super-quenching duo from Clarins, I don’t know how it would work for more aged skin but it have been working on my skin amazingly. I don’t yet have fine lines or wrinkles to target yet, my main concern always have been hydration which this duo works amazingly on that note. I feel it’s perfect for those who’s main concern is hydration, these products do give firmness to the skin but that’s all.
