Charlotte Tilbury | Magic Away Conealer, Airbrush Flawless

I have been having my eyes on some of the new and old beauty products from Charlotte Tilbury in the last couple of months. A new product that was launched back in the Fall of 2018 was the Magic Away Concealer and her all-time best-selling product Airbrush Flawless Finish Pressed Powder. I have been a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty products and I really wanted to try out these products.

Up first is the new Magic Away Concealer (C$44.37 for ) is a medium coverage long coverage concealer. The texture is super hydrating and lightweight, yet buildable to full coverage. The finish is smooth and comes in 16 amazing range of colors. The concealer comes in with a sponge tip applicator which I was not sure about it at first sight, just because I prefer the tube or wand applicator especially when it comes to highlighting but slowly I got hang of it. It stays input and blends beautifully and the sponge applicator comes very handily for touch-ups while you’re on the go. I found you do need to set the concealer with your fingertips just to get that flawless finish.

A closer look at the Applicator:

I got to test them in two shades:

  • 2 Fair which is a pink porcelain shade with a cool undertone
  • 4 Fair which is a warm beige shade with a neutral undertone

Both shades were a good match to my skin, 4 Fair was the perfect match to my skin tone and 2 fair was about two shades lighter than my skin which was a perfect shade to highlight. The color range is quite great and carries various shades with different undertones for all skin tones.

Up next is the Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder (C$62.40) is an ultra-fine setting powder that blurs imperfection while sets the foundation in its place. Probably you all know I’m not a powder person but I have been having on a mission to find a setting powder that would work on my dry skin. I do have quite some pressed powders that I trust and I reach to them when needed. I have had tried and tested the Genius Magic Loose powder a while back which I liked (reviewed here) and I have been reading some amazing reviews on this Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting powder since then.
It comes in three universal shades to cover all skin tones, it blends into your complexion and works as a translucent powder. I have been trying it in shade 1 Fair which is a nice bright shade with a neutral undertone that offers a natural finish.

Although I liked the Genius Magic Loose powder still it carries a mattifying effect on the skin. It works great during summertime but I was feeling dry on my skin during wintertime. I find the pressed powder works like a translucent powder with a softer texture that doesn’t feel dry on the skin. It works like a light veil on top of your skin for a more perfecting finish. It is formulated with Rose wax and almond oil which keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day. It sets the foundation and concealer beautifully. It doesn’t emphasize the fine lines and the light reflecting ingredient diffuse light as it hits your face which gives a luminous complexion.

Bottom line I loved both products! Charlotte Tilbury beauty products never fail same with these two, I loved the concealer for its performance and lasting power. The creamy texture feels and looks hydrated on the complexion. I also loved it for the fact that’s travel friendly, I can easily touch up while I’m on the go. The Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder is nice and I truly loved how it sets the foundation and concealer. It blurs out all fine lines and set on the skin like a light veil. You can find these online and in-store at Sephora.
