Charlotte Tilbury launched a few new items this past fall and I was very happy to get my hands to some of the key products including The Legendary Muse Luxury Eyeshadow Palette. I already had a quick review on some of these items which have been included into my Holiday Gift Guide, and since then I have been testing out these products. These products includes:
- The Legendary Muse Luxury Eyeshadow Palette (C$71.56)
- Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Love is the Drug (C$55.5)
- Hot Lips Matte Revolution Lipstick in Secret Salma (C$44.04)
Up first the The Legendary Muse Luxury Eyeshadow Palette (C$71.56) is a beautiful warm four quad eyeshadow palette. It carries a super soft texture with medium coverage and perfect shades to enhance any color eyes. These shadows are fully pigmented and buildable, it’s perfect for some one who loves to wear nude shades with a hint of shimmers or glitters.
Charlotte have labels them 1 thru 4 at the back of the eyeshadow for application for a perfect wear. And here is the order starting from left to right:
- Prime – is a soft pinky shimmer shade.
- Enhance – is a warm coppery gold shimmer shade.
- Pop – is a beautiful light golden shade with fine glitter.
- Smoke – is a mauve shimmer shade.
I found with these eyeshadows you can create a nice and soft pinky and more natural looking eyes. wearing them with a good eyeshadow primer is the key to better stay. I didn’t have any major fall outs from the shimmer eyeshadows but the glitter eyeshadow does move around while wearing, spraying your brush with a nice setting spray will solve the problem and will give you a nice sealed finish.
Up next is the Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Love is the Drug (C$55.05) is a combination of two beautiful shades to enhance and brighten the cheeks. These Blushes carries a soft and natural shimmery sheen texture and are highly pigmented. The outer ring is for the apples of the checks and the center color is to add a pop of color, and definitely you can get the best result by swirling the brush in the compact to add a perfect amount of color to the cheeks.
I have been in love with the shade Love is the Drug, especially the color in the ring gives a perfect finish to the check with a little of shimmer where it gives checks a perfect glow and with the center color you can add a little more depth.
Last but not least the Hot Lips Matte Revolution Lipstick in Secret Salma (C$44.04) is a gorgeous raspberry pink color, I would say a perfect nude pink. It’s a perfect every day color for all lipstick lovers with the most hydrating texture. The formula for the matte revolution is luminous and gives lips a perfect glow while it’s matte finish.
The Hot Lips Matte Revolution Lipsticks comes in 12 beautiful shades but I found Secret Salma was one of the prettiest of all shades. It’s wearable during the day and night as well as it complements all skin tones. The staying power is pretty good, it lasted on my lips for more than 5 hours without drying on my lips as many other matte finish lipsticks do.
Overall I was very happy with all three products from Charlotte Tilbury. This was my first time giving Charlotte Tilbury’s products a try, and I’m very happy I did. Even though I prefer most of the times to wear a darker shades on my eyes but I loved the how these shades gives a nice soft natural look with a little glamour touch.
