Clarisonic | Sonic Foundation Brush

Clarisonic Foundation Brush was in my target for a very long time or in other words since it was launched couple of months ago. Clarisonic have came up with the Foundation Brush (C$39 each) to make the foundation application easier and with a flawless finish. I think this is one of the smartest beauty items that your need to induce to your daily routine. This Brush head uses patented oscillation technology to generate more than 18000 micro blends per minute – it only takes 60 seconds or less to get a full foundation coverage. Isn’t that sounds amazing? You not only get a nice full coverage foundation finish in less time, it also offers a seamless finish that looks – air brushed!

The Clarisonic Foundation Brush works great with all liquid and stick foundations, as well as BB/CC cream, concealer, corrector, countering products and liquid highlighters. Its definitely cuts the time you spent for your makeup application and waste less product. It blends the products seamlessly where there are no harsh lines, especially in between contour and highlight. I would prefer to do the lighter applications first and then play with darker shades like contouring. It works on all skin textures: Oily, Combination, Dry and Sensitive.

If you already own any of the Clarisonic face brushes like Mia 1, Mia 2, Mia FIT, and Smart Profile – the brush is capable with all and it completely transforms your cleansing device to a makeup applicator. It definitely takes away so many application tools and brushes from your vanity, creating more space and easier to go to next makeup application without looking for the right tools for minutes. I have the Smart Profile Uplift reviewed here that was gifted to me from the brand last year, and I have been in love with the whole combination of cleansing body and face, massaging and definitely makeup application at the same time. All I need is to switch the heads while it literally gives my skin that glowing and lifted look within minutes.

I have been testing the Clarisonic face brush for more than three weeks now and I have been obsessed with this device. Its perfect makeup tool while traveling, all your makeup brushes in just one device where it takes you from cleansing your face to finish off your makeup with in minutes. The Clarisonic Foundation Brush is now available in store and online at Sephora and

Foreo | LUNA™ Play Plus

Every one wants that soft, smooth and glowing looking complexion. It starts with nice and clean skin, yet using a right cleansing tools makes a huge difference in over all skin texture. I have been a huge fun of Fore Luna 2 reviewed here for almost 3 years now and I was supper happy that Foreo launches the new LUNA Play Plus (C$59.00). It’s a waterproof portable deep cleansing device for all skin types and texture that is ultra gentle for a soft, smooth and radiant looking skin while you’re on the go. This mini version of LUNA is a facial cleansing deceive combines T-Sonic pulsations to effectively cleanse the skin while we’re on the go, where this LUNA Play Plus fits into a purse, back pack, and gym bag. We all go crazy to get that clean and glowing version of our skin when we want to go to gym or spending more hours on air – while we put on loads of makeup and most of the times when it comes to take them off, we don’t have that right tool to remove every thing that leads to break outs and dry and patchy skin. Although I loved the original LUNA 2 for its travel friendly facts but this mini version makes life even better. LUNA Play Plus uses AAA batteries for a one – minute cleansing routine that can be done virtually any where you want. It’s meant to be used for up to 100 times uses where I think it’s always easy to find AAA batteries almost every where you go (just in case you for get to renew the batteries). The LUNA 2 does meet the full charging claims, it does stay fully in charged with 450 uses. It carries the same silicone brush that remains gentle on even sensitive skin. I found this new LUNA Play Plus silicone texture is even softer than the original LUNA where the silicone bristles are more precise and gentle on skin. It comes in seven beautiful and colorful shades to choose from.

The Foreo LUNA Play Plus is designed with more fine and precise bristle to be gentle for most part of the complexion like cheeks yet a little more tensed on areas like nose and jaw line. The power push button is located at the back of the device and it only carries one speed manual.
Bottom line I loved the concept of the mini version while it’s a perfect portable cleansing device that give refined, clear and purified skin. It also help to remove any dead skin cells plus lifts away almost all of dirt, oil and makeup residue. I felt it’s more practical for people while they’re on the go where it makes it easy to pack light yet get effective with skin care. You can now find the Foreo LUNA Play Plus at all Murale store this January.
