Burberry introduces the First Love palette Blush Highlighter (C$72.00 for 0.6 oz/ 17 ml) for their First Love collection this summer season. This collection carries a selection of products with nice bronzy and pinkish tones and colours. This First love Palette Blush Highlighter is a heart-shaped combined blush and highlighter compact to give complexion a nice and fresh subtle rosy glow. The palette was inspired by the playful prints and fabrics from Burberry’s womenswear collections. It’s a one kind blush that compliments all skin tones with its lightweight formula. I have been always impressed with their highlighter formulas earlier this year and I find this even more beautiful for a natural and fresh looking cheeks. The palette carries two different textures – the highlighter carries illuminating pearls that comes in a soft pastel pink hue and the heart pink shape blush in matte finish. It blends in beautifully and have a buildable texture. You can customized the two shades to your taste by placing your blush brush on the colours.
Pigment is medium to rich but soft and buildable. It melts into the skin by touch and offers a smooth finish without emphasizing pores. The texture is extremely soft with minimal fall out. It comes in the same Burberry’s blush and highlighter packaging which carries a very luxurious look in to it.
Over all I loved this palette, especially I find blushes with two tones give the most beautiful finish. I also like the fact that you can wear them separately or customize the shade to your taste. My first impression was why don’t they make this for Valentines Day but I think it’s a gorgeous palette to have for any time of year. The First Love palette Blush Highlighter is now available at Hudson’s Bay, Nordstrom and Sephora stores, and online at thebay.com and Sephora.ca.
Many thanks to the Burberry team for sending the First Love palette Blush Highlighter for reviewing purposes.
