Happy National Lipstick Day! as a lipstick lover today I’m rounding up some of my favorite lipstick formulas that have been loving throughout years. Every one have different taste when it comes to picking a lipstick depending on formula, finish, coverage and color. I’m personally a nude lipstick lover and most of the times I gravitate toward pink nudes with different under tones but there are some times where I go very bold. I have split this round-up depending into different formulas.
Full Coverage
Rouge Dior Double Rouge is one of my favorite formulas when it comes to full coverage lipsticks. They’re super hydrating yet covers lips fully within one swipe, swatched here.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is creamy and covers lips fully. Love the staying power with a very soft and hydrating texture, some shades reviewed here, here and here.
Mac Cosmetics I feel like no matter how much I try and get to find new formulas I always go back and love my MAC lipsticks, they stay on my classic collection of full coverage lipsticks of all the time.
Matte
Colour Riche Matte Lipstick these are one of the best matte lipsticks, I would say one of the classic lipsticks that you need in your lipstick collection, full coverage and keeps lips hydrated, fully reviewed here.
Makeup For Ever Artist Rouge Lipsticks are my favorite formulas out there, the formula stays input but doesn’t dry out lips.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution is one of the most loved lipsticks from me, the formula gives lips that sophisticated look that any girl would dream of.
Sheer and Glossy
Pure Color Love Lipsticks this collection caries a great range of shades with different texture while it stays super hydrated on the lips, fully swatched here.
Dior Addict Lacquer Stick I love the formula and the slim look of these lipsticks, they glide easily and with a high shine finish. Its one of the lipsticks that I always trust when in doubt, reviewed here.
Ecstasy Shine this is probably one of the most beautiful lipsticks that looks fresh on the lips and looks supper sexy, with a nice sheer coverage swatches are here.
GEN NUDE™ Buttercream Lipgloss this collection is so nice and creamy, it gives that stick free finish to the lips that hides all those lines on the lips full review here.
Metallic
Infallible Lip Paints Metallic Liquid lipsticks find a nice metallic finish is really hard, especially with so many options. Wearing metallic shades need a little guts but I found these are easy to wear with a perfect finish – reviewed here.
Rouge Dior Liquid love the finish of these metallic lipsticks, yet the formula doesn’t separate.
Stay All Day Shimmer Liquid Lipstick in Illuminaire Shimmer are gold in a jar, they’re not fully metallic but it carries a perfect amount of shimmers to give you the illusion of a metallic lipstick but very subtle. Swatched here.
Liquid
Liquid Lip Velvet is definitely one of the best formula when it comes to liquid lipstick, you may want to check the deeper and pink nudes since there are quite some amazing shades, full review here.
GEN NUDE™ Matte Liquid Lipcolor this is probably one of my favorite matte liquid lipstick formulas, for the fact that it doesn’t dry my lips at all full review here.
Super Stay Matte INK I really wanted to bring some of the drug store formulas that carries a high-end quality and this is for sure one of those, swatched here.
Infallible Matte Liquid I can only describe this as a high quality with a drugstore price tag, get your hands on these as soon as you can, fully reviewed here.
Tined or inks
Dior Addict Lacquer Plum one of the best formulas I have ever tried. Its super hydrating with high shine that looks so glossy yet it’s an ink that leaves a nice tined on the lips, reviewed here.
Dior Addict line Lip Tattoo these are a game changer when it comes inks and tined lipsticks, the formula is super light and gives lips that natural color that comes from within. The formula is super hydrating and with an amazing lasting power – fully reviewed here.
Balm
Dior Lip Glow Hydrating Color Reviver Lip Balm is probable one of the most reached products this year, it gives a perfect amount of color and moisture to the lips – perfect to where any where. Reviewed here.
New Sugar Dream Lip Treatment Advance Therapy are one of the most hydrating lip balms that carries a perfect amount of color while it provides lips the SPF 15 it needs.
Lip Oils
Instant Lip Comfort Oil from Clarins is one of the most beautiful lip oils I have used, they come in great selection of colors and flavors with different finishes – fully reviewed here.
Huile Irresistible Pour Les Levres Lip Oil in Fuchsia Ink is my favorite, with perfect shade, perfect texture and enough shine with a great staying power, swatched here.
